During a visit to Millennium Elephant Foundation you are given the opportunity to feed the elephants! Its good fun and a great way to say thank you to the elephants that you meet and get them a varied diet!

One plate costs only 200 rupees! All of the profits are put towards rescuing another elephant from a life of hardship to live with us here at MEF.  The average cost of an elephant per day is 7000 rupees which is 35 plates per day!

The volunteers are also working hard in the garden in the hope that we can provide most of the fruit and veg to the fruit shop and reduce our costs and maximise profits.
